The Long Beach Junior Concert Band has been the Leo Band of the Downtown Long Beach Lions for over 10 years.

The band has participated in numerous events for the DLB Lions and captured 1st place in class at the San Diego International Convention Parade.  They perform annually at the club's Children's Christmas Party and almost every year at the annual BBQ fundraiser.

They performed at the state convention when it was held in Long Beach,  at the Downtown LB Lions sponsored parade and at numerous weekly meetings.

The band kicked off the formal dedication of the Lighthouse for Sight (see image at the right above) and numerous other parades and events including leading off the annual Diabetes Awareness Walk.
